Nigerian rapper Ycee has sparked controversy online after calling out popular music video director TG Omori over his reaction to the allegations involving dancer and entertainer Poco Lee.

The controversy followed reports that Poco Lee had been arrested in the United Kingdom in connection with an alleged sexual offence, triggering widespread reactions across social media.

Amid the growing conversation, TG Omori took to X to express his sadness over the situation, describing Poco Lee as one of the “purest” people he had ever met.

“It breaks my heart to hear Poco Lee in this sort of mess. That’s the purest soul I have ever met. The devil really works overtime,” TG Omori wrote.

However, his comment did not sit well with Ycee, who appeared to take issue with the suggestion that the devil was responsible for the alleged wrongdoing.

Reacting to TG Omori’s post, Ycee warned against shifting responsibility for human actions to a spiritual force.

“You cannot always blame the devil for the actions of men,” Ycee fired back.

Ycee’s response has since generated further debate among social media users, with some agreeing that individuals should be held accountable for their alleged actions, while others defended TG Omori’s decision to express support for someone he considers a friend.

The exchange has added another layer to the controversy surrounding Poco Lee, as the allegations continue to generate heated reactions from Nigerians and members of the entertainment industry.

Neither Ycee nor TG Omori’s comments establish the guilt of Poco Lee, and the allegations remain subject to due legal process.
