Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has thrown down the gauntlet to veteran artiste Terry G, declaring that he wants to face him in a celebrity boxing match to “revive” his career.
Speaking during an interview on Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels Television, Portable dismissed other potential opponents and insisted Terry G is the only celebrity he is interested in fighting.
“I want to fight Terry G. If I fight Terry G, people will remember him,” Portable said, suggesting that a showdown between them would generate massive public attention.
The self-styled “King of Celebrity Boxing” also boasted that he pioneered the trend of celebrity boxing in Nigeria, pointing to his previous fights as proof of his dominance in the ring.
Portable is already preparing for a rematch against actor Charles Okocha on July 31, following their first encounter in December 2023, where he emerged victorious.
