Baby Mistakenly Placed in Oven, Court Documents Show
According to a probable cause affidavit, Thomas told investigators that she intended to put her daughter down for a nap but mistakenly placed the baby inside an oven instead of the crib.
Police said the infant suffered severe burns and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A friend previously described Za’Riah Mae as a cheerful baby who was often smiling.
