Elders, leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta South Senatorial District are scheduled to converge on Warri on September 10, 2026, for a mega meeting aimed at strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, according to Chief Emman Amgbaduba, Delta South APC Senatorial District chairman will take place at the BrownHill Coliseum in Warri.
He said the gathering is expected to bring together serving and former political office holders, party leaders, elected officials, appointees, aspirants and other stakeholders from the eight local government areas that make up the senatorial district.
Those invited include former governors and deputy governors of Delta State who are still members of the APC, serving and former senators, members of the House of Representatives, ministers, governorship and deputy governorship candidates, as well as serving and former members of the Delta State House of Assembly.

Also expected are serving and former members of APC national, zonal, senatorial, state and local government executive committees from Delta South, federal government appointees, presidential amnesty programme coordinators, commissioners, former commissioners, special advisers and other political appointees who are members of the party.
Also invited are serving and former chiefs of staff to the governor, principal secretaries, directors-general and managing directors of state agencies, governing council chairmen, board chairmen and members of commissions and boards from Delta South as participants.
At the grassroots level, all APC local government chairmen, vice chairmen, secretaries, women and youth leaders from the eight local government areas, as well as council chairmen and vice chairmen, former council chairmen and party leaders from the wards are expected at the meeting.
All APC candidates for the 2027 general elections from Delta South and aspirants who participated in the party’s recently concluded primaries are also invited.
Those to also attend are leaders of local government legislative arms, APC ward chairmen, councillors, council secretaries and supervising councillors.
