The controversy surrounding the death of Nigerian-British businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo has taken a dramatic turn after his son rejected the narrative surrounding his father’s death and alleged that there are still unanswered questions about what happened in Thailand.

Key Highlights

  • Nigerian-British businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo died in Bangkok on March 6, 2026, after a penile filler procedure.
  • A UK coroner concluded that he died from a pulmonary embolism linked to hyaluronic acid filler.
  • His son has rejected the official narrative, alleging that questions about his father’s death remain unanswered.
  • The son claimed his father had injuries, including an alleged missing eyeball and a deep forehead wound, but these allegations have not been independently substantiated.
  • He also questioned the circumstances of Tiny’s trip to Thailand and raised disputes concerning his father’s wife and inheritance.

Tiny, also known as Denisi or Ego, died in Bangkok on March 6, 2026, after undergoing a penile filler procedure.

A United Kingdom coroner later concluded that he died from a pulmonary embolism associated with the hyaluronic acid injection, after approximately 40ml of filler was administered during the procedure. A post-mortem reportedly found material consistent with the filler in his lungs.

However, in a video circulating online, Tiny’s son disputed the way his father’s death has been portrayed, insisting that the family has questions that go beyond the cosmetic procedure.

“My dad was killed in March,” he said, while questioning the suggestion that his father travelled to Thailand simply because he was dissatisfied with the size of his penis.

He reportedly went on to question how the cosmetic procedure could explain injuries he claimed were found on his father’s body, including an alleged missing eyeball and a deep wound on his forehead.

“A penis elongation doesn’t cause you to have a missing eyeball and a giant gash on your forehead,” he said.

The allegations have not been independently established, and they contrast with the findings presented at the UK inquest, which attributed Tiny’s death to a fatal pulmonary embolism connected to the filler procedure.

The son also turned his attention to his father’s wife, alleging that she was not legally married to Tiny and accusing her of keeping members of the family in the dark about events surrounding his death.

Furthermore, he claimed that disagreements over Tiny’s property and inheritance have emerged following his death.

The explosive claims come as the circumstances surrounding Tiny’s final procedure continue to generate questions.

Thai health authorities revealed on September 9 that Tiny had reportedly undergone five penis-enlargement treatments at the Bangkok clinic, beginning in 2024.

The clinic told investigators that he had received four previous treatments before the fatal procedure in March.

According to the clinic, Tiny was advised to divide his final 40cc filler treatment into two sessions but allegedly opted to have it done in one session. Thai authorities are investigating the clinic and its compliance with medical standards.

The fresh family allegations have now added another layer to a case that was already attracting intense public attention.

Reacting to the wider controversy on X, @KokoetteMichael described the case as tragic and urged people to take the risks associated with cosmetic procedures seriously.

Meanwhile, aesthetic medicine and dermatology physician Dr. Mobola Savage warned on X that penile fillers should not be regarded as harmless simply because they are non-surgical.

“Non-surgical does not mean risk-free,” Savage said, stressing that penile filler remains an invasive procedure involving highly vascular anatomy.

The debate has also triggered a broader argument online over why public attention has focused heavily on Tiny’s decision to undergo the procedure rather than the medical circumstances surrounding the treatment.

For now, the official medical finding remains that Tiny died from a pulmonary embolism associated with the penile filler procedure, while the new allegations from his son remain claims that have not been independently substantiated.
