The National Movement for Tinubu-Shettima 2027, also known as Forward Nigeria, described the participation of the three political figures at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council as an example of cross-party cooperation.
In a statement issued on Thursday and signed by its National Chairman, Prof. Rufai Alkali, the group said their participation demonstrates the potential for political engagement beyond traditional party boundaries.
The group said such cooperation could create opportunities for dialogue on governance, economic development and democratic stability, despite differences in political affiliations.
It described the involvement of leaders from different political platforms in the campaign council’s inauguration as “a rare and unique bipartisanship in the service of the nation.”
However, the statement did not provide details of the specific commitments made by Adeleke and Soludo to Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
The group’s endorsement came as political activities gathered momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the APC moving to coordinate its campaign structures across the country.
Group Commends Campaign Council Inauguration
Forward Nigeria also commended Tinubu for inaugurating the campaign council, describing the move as a significant step towards organising the party’s nationwide mobilisation ahead of the election.
It praised Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma and other party leaders for their roles in the inauguration.
The group particularly welcomed Tinubu’s reported assurance that preparations for the election would not distract his administration from its constitutional responsibilities.
According to the statement, governance must remain a priority even as political parties intensify preparations for the next electoral cycle.

Grassroots Mobilisation Strategy
The group also endorsed the campaign council’s proposed grassroots mobilisation strategy, which is expected to extend from the national level to state chapters, local governments and electoral wards.
It said the structure would provide opportunities for campaign officials to explain government policies, communicate the administration’s achievements and address citizens’ concerns.
Forward Nigeria urged political parties to focus on policy debates, records of performance and peaceful democratic engagement rather than personal attacks.
It also challenged opposition parties to learn from Tinubu’s approach to the 2027 election, arguing that public confidence depended on responsible leadership, transparent communication and demonstrable efforts to address citizens’ concerns.
The group further urged political stakeholders to ensure that electioneering activities did not undermine governance or the national interest.
It said the 2027 election should provide an opportunity for Nigerians to assess competing policies, leadership records and proposals for the country’s development.
The statement concluded that the APC was prepared to offer what it described as responsible leadership, inclusive political engagement and democratic progress.
