Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, representing Delta South Senatorial District, has expressed profound gratitude to constituents, political stakeholders, and supporters following the overwhelming turnout and support for his second-term declaration. In a public appreciation message released on Monday, the senator described the show of solidarity as both humbling and a strong affirmation of the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership.

The senator extended special appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, acknowledging his leadership as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and his role in shaping the nation’s direction. He also praised the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, alongside Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme, for their unwavering support and statesmanship.

Further gratitude was directed toward leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, as well as state and regional party executives for their dedication to the party’s growth and stability.

Senator Thomas also recognized members of the National Assembly and Delta State House of Assembly, highlighting their contributions to governance and legislative progress. He specifically acknowledged the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, for his leadership.

The appreciation message extended to local government leaders, community stakeholders, and traditional institutions across Delta South, noting their collective efforts in fostering unity and development. Religious leaders and community influencers were also commended for their encouragement and support.

In concluding his message, Senator Thomas expressed gratitude to youths, women, and community members who stood by him, pledging to continue delivering impactful legislation, quality representation, and sustainable development initiatives for the benefit of the people.
