Nigerian social media personality Saida Boj has slammed activist VeryDarkMan over his repeated attacks on Afrobeats singer Davido, warning that responding to him directly would only give him the attention and recognition he seeks.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Saida Boj questioned VeryDarkMan’s comparison of his Ratel movement with Davido’s influential 30BG fan base, insisting that both groups were not on the same level.
She also expressed disappointment over the activist’s decision to repeatedly call out Davido, particularly considering their previous association.

According to Saida Boj, Davido’s silence should not be interpreted as an inability to confront VeryDarkMan, stressing that the singer has largely allowed people around him to respond to the activist instead.
She argued that VeryDarkMan appears determined to provoke a direct reaction from the singer, adding that such a response would elevate the activist’s status.
“VeryDarkMan wants Davido to answer him, that’s the thing. If Davido answers him now, he has given him a level,” she said.
Saida Boj consequently advised Davido to maintain his silence rather than give VeryDarkMan the satisfaction of getting a direct response from him.
