Nigerian rap heavyweight Odumodublvck and street-hop star Zlatan Ibile have stirred excitement among music lovers with the release of their new collaborative single, ‘Motion Sickness’, a high-energy anthem inspired by Arsenal’s long-awaited league triumph.

The song, produced by LekaaGotWings, combines gritty street-hop rhythms with melodic hooks and football-themed bravado, reflecting both artists’ long-standing support for Arsenal Football Club.

Key Highlights:

  • Odumodublvck and Zlatan Ibile released Motion Sickness inspired by Arsenal F.C.’s success.
  • The football-themed street-hop track quickly gained online attention and praise from fans.
  • Both artists built excitement through social media teasers and promotional content before release.
  • The song continues Odumodublvck’s strong connection with football culture after Declan Rice.
  • While reactions were mostly positive, some fans still preferred Declan Rice over the new release.

Released amid the celebrations surrounding the club’s title-winning season, the track quickly gained traction online, with fans praising its timing, energy and street appeal.

Ahead of the release, Odumodublvck generated anticipation by teasing snippets of the song, alongside chaotic airport-themed artwork and behind-the-scenes studio clips on social media.

Zlatan Ibile also fueled excitement after previewing part of his verse, which listeners described as “prophetic” for its references to Arsenal finally lifting the title.

The collaboration continues Odumodublvck’s growing association with football culture, especially among Arsenal supporters.

His previous hit, ‘Declan Rice’, became widely embraced by fans of the North London club and helped strengthen his image as one of Nigerian music’s most vocal football enthusiasts.

Since its release, ‘Motion Sickness’ has dominated conversations on X, where fans and music commentators shared mixed but largely positive reactions.

An X user, @NaijaGunner, wrote, “ODUMODU and Zlatan on an Arsenal anthem? Yeah, this one is entering stadium playlists immediately.”

Another user, @BigKalaMusic, praised Zlatan’s contribution, saying, “Zlatan’s verse sounded like he already knew Arsenal were winning the title months ago.”

Music platform commentator @SabiRadioNG described the track as “raw street-hop,” adding that producer LekaaGotWings “cooked seriously on this production.”

Others commended the rollout strategy surrounding the release. “The airport artwork, the football energy, the rollout — Odumodublvck understands branding,” @ChopLifeTweets posted.

However, not all listeners were completely convinced. Some fans compared the song to Odumodublvck’s earlier football-themed releases, particularly Declan Rice. “Good song but Declan Rice still clears.

That track was a cultural moment,” @NorthBankUltra commented.

Despite the comparisons, many fans agree that Motion Sickness stands out as one of the major Nigerian street-hop releases of the week, especially amid the crowded New Music Friday lineup.

The song is currently streaming across major digital platforms, with fans continuing to celebrate the collaboration as another strong moment for Nigeria’s thriving hip-hop and street-hop scene.
