The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Akwa Ibom State Branch, has joined other stakeholders, partners, and well-wishers in celebrating the Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) on its 25th anniversary, describing the organisation as a beacon of hope that has positively impacted millions of Nigerians.

In a statement signed by the State Chairman of the association, Prof. Aniekan Peter, and the Public Relations Officer, Dr. Gabriel Eyo, in Uyo, the NMA praised ECEWS for its outstanding contributions to healthcare delivery, community empowerment, and public health advancement over the past two and a half decades.

The association noted that ECEWS has consistently transformed lives, strengthened health systems, empowered communities, and improved public health outcomes through innovative and impactful interventions across the country.

The NMA commended the organisation’s leadership, staff, and development partners for their dedication and unwavering commitment to improving healthcare services and enhancing the wellbeing of Nigerians.

“We commend the leadership, staff, and partners of ECEWS for their unwavering commitment to improving healthcare outcomes and enhancing the wellbeing of Nigerians,” the statement read.

The association further wished the organisation greater accomplishments, broader impact, and many more years of excellence in service to humanity as it marks the significant milestone.
