The engagements were also aimed at presenting his vision for the constituency and strengthening ties with community stakeholders.
An indigene of Uwheru Kingdom, Umukoro said consulting the traditional and community leadership was important to his political journey, stressing that effective representation must be built around regular engagement with the people.
He promised that, if elected, his legislative agenda would focus on issues affecting constituents, including community development, youth empowerment, education, infrastructure and economic opportunities.

He said representation should not be limited to the chambers of the State House of Assembly but should reflect the needs, concerns and aspirations of the people at the grassroots.
Receiving the candidate, the President-General of Uwheru Kingdom, Wilson Umukoro Oghenerukewe, commended him for consulting the kingdom’s leadership as he pursues the House of Assembly seat.
Oghenerukewe encouraged Umukoro to remain focused and disciplined while pursuing his political ambition.

At a separate meeting, the Youth President of Uwheru Kingdom, Comrade Otuogba Mudiaga, welcomed the NDP candidate and encouraged him to remain steadfast in his pursuit of the constituency’s mandate.

He expressed hope that Umukoro’s aspiration, if successful, would translate into meaningful representation and greater attention to issues affecting youths in the constituency.
Mudiaga also prayed for the candidate, seeking divine favour and success at the polls while urging him to remain committed to the people and the principles behind his political ambition.
