The party made the demand on Monday, during a press briefing in Ughelli, where its leaders expressed concern over what they described as delays in disclosing the findings of the inquiry and taking appropriate action.
Speaking at the briefing, an NDC leader, Chief Obiuwevbi Ominimini, urged the state government to make the report available to the public and ensure that anyone found culpable was held accountable.
He alleged that Adeda had been tied up and killed by individuals who, according to him, were not authorised to make arrests.
Ominimini said the circumstances surrounding Adeda’s death should not be allowed to fade from public attention without a transparent account of what happened.
‘We Want That Report To Be Made Public’
He called on Governor Oborevwori to disclose the findings of the investigation, adding that the public deserved to know the outcome and the action taken by the government.
“We want that report to be made public. We are calling on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to release that report to the public gallery. Let people know what they have reported, and we want quick action to be taken,” he said.
The NDC leader expressed concern that no one, to his knowledge, had been suspended or punished in connection with the incident, insisting that any person found responsible should face the consequences under the law.
“We cannot see an Urhobo son killed like that, and nobody has been suspended. Nobody has been punished,” he said.

He further appealed to the governor to ensure that the investigation was concluded and its findings communicated to the public without unnecessary delay.
“Justice delayed is justice denied. We do not like that delay,” Ominimini said.
The party leader also appealed to the Urhobo people to show solidarity over the incident, arguing that the death of one person should concern the wider community.
He maintained that transparency and accountability were necessary to sustain public confidence in the state government’s handling of the matter.
The demand comes amid concerns over the circumstances surrounding Adeda’s death following an altercation at his workplace in Asaba.
The state government’s response to the demand for publication of the inquiry report was not available at the time of the briefing.
