DSVA Activates Response Protocol
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) said it was alerted to the alleged abuse on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, and immediately activated its response protocol.
According to the agency, officials subsequently established contact with the child’s mother, who disclosed that the incident had already been reported at the Imota Police Station.
The DSVA said officers at the Family Support Unit further informed it that the child’s mother had initially reported the matter to the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency.

Suspect Apprehended, Child Referred For Medical Care
