Liverpool have completed the signing of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth up to £123 million.

The Reds will reportedly pay an initial £106 million for the 23-year-old winger, with a further £17 million included in potential add-ons.

Barcola has signed a five-year contract at Anfield, becoming Liverpool’s fifth major arrival of the summer transfer window.

He joins Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe among the new additions to the squad.

Speaking after completing his move, Barcola expressed his excitement at joining the Premier League giants and revealed his ambition to win major honours with the club.

“It took a long time, but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play,” he said.

“I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life.

“It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term. That’s why I signed a long contract, and I hope I can do it.”

The French forward will wear the number 29 shirt at Liverpool.

Although naturally a left winger, Barcola is capable of playing across the attacking line and is expected to provide additional options in the Reds’ attack.

His arrival comes after the departure of Mohamed Salah, while Hugo Ekitike is currently sidelined by a long-term injury. Cody Gakpo could also leave the club before the close of the transfer window.

Barcola scored 13 goals and registered seven assists in 49 appearances across all competitions for PSG last season.

He also played in all eight of France’s matches at the 2026 World Cup, scoring three goals as Les Bleus progressed to the third-place play-off.

Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 in a deal reportedly worth £38.5 million.

During his time in Paris, he established himself as one of Europe’s most exciting young attacking players and collected several major honours.

His trophies with PSG include three Ligue 1 titles, two UEFA Champions League titles, two French Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

Liverpool’s agreement with PSG also includes a payment linked to the solidarity contribution owed to Lyon from Barcola’s transfer to the French champions.

Barcola arrives with a reputation as one of the most dangerous wide attackers in European football.

Despite operating primarily from the left wing, his early development as a striker has shaped his movement and goalscoring instincts.

Last season, he averaged 3.5 shots per 90 minutes in Ligue 1 and recorded an expected goals figure of 9.83, placing him among the most dangerous wingers across Europe’s major leagues.

He finished the campaign with 11 league goals, outperforming his expected goals total and consistently finding himself in dangerous scoring positions.
