The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly candidate for Isoko North Constituency in Delta State, Orobosa Ashakah, has illuminated the Ozoro Daily Market with modern solar streetlights in a move aimed at enhancing security and extending commercial activities in the area.

Ashakah said the project was undertaken as part of his personal commitment to community development and his determination to contribute to the growth and wellbeing of the people of Isoko North.
Speaking during the installation, the APC candidate described the Ozoro Daily Market as a critical economic hub whose traders deserved a secure and conducive environment to conduct their businesses.
He said: “Ozoro Daily Market is the economic heartbeat of Isoko Nation. Traders deserve to do business in a secure and well-lit environment. This is the kind of leadership Isoko North needs — practical, people-centred and immediate.”
He stressed that community development should not be left entirely to government, urging well-meaning individuals and corporate organisations to complement government efforts by investing in projects that directly impact the lives of the people.
The project attracted commendation from market women, traders and community leaders, who expressed appreciation for the intervention and described it as a significant development for the market.
