Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa, President of the Emnamu Foundation, has formally resigned his membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing alleged ill-treatment by some party leaders within his constituency.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, Dr. Musa said his decision followed what he described as persistent grievances, particularly during the recently concluded party congresses at both the local government and state levels in Adamawa.

According to a resignation letter addressed to party leadership, Musa noted that he had earlier distanced himself from party activities due to the challenges he faced, before taking the final step to withdraw his membership entirely.

“This decision was taken after careful consideration and in good faith,” he stated, while expressing appreciation for the opportunities he had during his time in the ruling party.

Despite his exit, Musa called on his supporters and political associates to remain calm, united, and focused, assuring them that his next political steps would soon be unveiled.

He revealed plans to launch a new political movement before the end of the week, signaling a fresh direction in his political journey.

Musa also reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented leadership, grassroots development, and the overall advancement of Adamawa State, where he remains an influential political figure.
