Tijjani Galadima has emerged as the leading contender in the ongoing governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State.
Early results from the collation process, indicate that Galadima has secured victories in 20 of the 21 local government areas announced so far, giving him a commanding advantage in the race.

His closest rival, Abdulrazak Namdas, is reported to have won only in Ganye Local Government Area, while Galadima dominated the remaining declared councils.
