The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative has commenced the payment of ₦30,000 stipends to Batch B beneficiaries, with some participants already confirming receipt of the funds.

Key Highlights

  • TVET Batch B beneficiaries are receiving ₦30,000 stipends.
  • Payments have commenced through the programme’s designated payment channels.
  • The stipend is intended to support participants during their technical and vocational training.
  • Beneficiaries yet to receive payment are advised to follow official updates from the programme authorities.
  • The TVET initiative aims to equip Nigerians with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship.

The development is part of the Federal Government’s efforts to support Nigerians undergoing technical and vocational training while reducing some of the financial burden associated with participation in the programme.

Some Batch B beneficiaries have already started receiving the ₦30,000 TVET stipend through the designated payment channels provided by the programme authorities.

The stipend is expected to help participants meet some of the costs associated with their training and encourage them to remain committed to acquiring practical and marketable skills.

The TVET programme is designed to equip Nigerians with technical and vocational skills that can improve employability, promote entrepreneurship and create opportunities for self-employment.

The initiative is also part of broader efforts to address unemployment by expanding access to skills training and improving the capacity of Nigerians to participate in the labour market.

Beneficiaries who have not yet received their ₦30,000 stipends are advised to monitor official communication from the programme authorities for updates on the payment process and any verification requirements.

Participants are also encouraged to continue with their training and make full use of the opportunities provided under the programme.

The commencement of the Batch B TVET stipend payment marks another stage in the implementation of the initiative, with payments expected to continue through the approved channels.
