President Bola Tinubu scored 131,096 votes at the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary held across the 192 wards in Edo State.
Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, who is the returning officer for the presidential primary, said the election was very peaceful across the state.
Collation officers from the 18 local government areas of Edo State were at the APC state secretariat in Benin, where the final collation was done before Gov. Okpebholo announced the results.

In the Edo South Senatorial District, Tinubu scored 9,177 votes in Oredo Local Government Area, 13,147 votes in Ikpoba-Okha, 10,074 votes in Egor, 6,858 votes in Orhionmwon, 10,044 votes in Ovia South West, 7,983 votes in Ovia North East, and 6,159 votes in Uhunwonde.
Also, in Edo North Senatorial District, he polled 4,564 votes in Etsako Central Local Government Area, 7,123 votes in Etsako East, 5,492 votes in Owan East, 4139 votes in Owan West, 7,464 votes in Akoko-Edo, and 11,497 votes in Etsako West,.
Similarly, in Edo Central Senatorial District, Tinubu scored 5,441 votes in Esan South East, 4,111 votes in Esan North East, 5,467 votes in Igueben, 6,820 votes in Esan West, and 5,536 votes in Esan Central.
