Suspected Boko Haram kills 15, scores injured in Adamawa community

At least 15 people have been reported dead following a suspected Boko Haram attack on Guyaku community in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

According to local sources, the attack occurred on Sunday evening when armed assailants stormed the community, catching residents off guard.

 

Eyewitness social media accounts said the attackers struck swiftly, leaving multiple casualties in their wake.

Details surrounding the incident remain sketchy as of press time, with the exact number of injured yet to be confirmed.

Residents are said to have fled their homes amid the chaos, while local authorities continue efforts to restore calm.

Security agencies are expected to deploy to the area to assess the situation and prevent further violence. No official statement had been issued at the time of filing this report.
