Nigeria international Stephen Odey has surfaced on the watchlist of Scottish league giants, Celtic and Rangers according to reports by Scottish media.

Though Celtic and Rangers are yet to make any official offer for the former Genk striker, who previously processed a loan spell at Randers FC, the Super Eagle, who has been capped three times for the national team stated that his agent will handle any intending offers.
“These are big clubs, and it is clear that this is something that I want to be open to. But I’m in Randers FC, and right now that’s the only thing that matters,” Odey told amtsavisen.dk.

“As long as I have not been presented with anything concrete, as I said, I will not let myself be disturbed by it.
“Rumours can spread quickly, but it’s not something I want to be distracted by. My agent takes care of everything that may be around the transfer market. I’m not trying to think about it. The important thing for me as a player is to focus on the preparations for the new season.
“If the right club comes, Randers FC has no choice but to let me go. But I am happy to be in Randers FC, and that does not change the fact that there are some rumours about other clubs,” he added.
Odey last season netted 7 goals in 15 appearances for Randers FC in Denmark Superligaen to complement his 13 goals in all competitions from 32 appearances for the Horses.
