Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has taken a swipe at his former manager, Goskey, amid their ongoing dispute over alleged unpaid salaries, mistreatment and claims of a toxic working environment.

In a video circulating online, the controversial entertainer dismissed the need for a manager, saying he would rather have someone who attends to his personal needs than share in his earnings.
Speed Darlington questioned the value of having a manager and suggested that he preferred a subordinate who would serve him and address him respectfully.
‘What I Need Is A House Help’
“Why I no go use you? You need to be used. You’re very useless, if not a fraud. I’m sure you can’t afford to buy a car. You used your own hand to make yourself my manager.”
“Me wey dey look for who go serve me. What I want is someone that will be answering me sir from morning till night,” he said.
The rapper further explained that he does not want to continue working with a manager because he wants to protect his money from being shared with others.
“Wetin I wan do with manager? So my money go finish sharp sharp abi? I don’t need a manager because I don’t want anybody to eat my money. What I need is a house help,” he added.
Goskey’s Allegations
His comments followed allegations by Goskey, who claimed that Speed Darlington owed him three years’ salary and mistreated him during their working relationship.
The former manager also alleged that the rapper received ₦30 million for his boxing match against fellow entertainer Carter Efe but paid him only a fraction of the amount.
Reports surrounding the alleged payment have cited varying figures, with the latest account stating that Goskey received ₦250,000.
