Foremost business mogul and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Skyworld Resources Limited, Chief Eta Enahoro has called on the Isoko people to shun vices aimed at undermining the resolve of Isoko ethnic nationality to clinch the senatorial seat.
Eta said if the people truly desire a better Isoko nation then the right thing must be done.
In a statement on Sunday, January 29, 2023, by Chief Eta, the Iyasere of Oyede kingdom in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Isoko Nation is well positioned to get the senatorial seat through Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Delta South if they work together in unison.
He said the only thing that would hinder the Isoko people’s resolve to vote for Joel-Onowakpo in the general elections, is the high dependence on stomach infrastructure.
“If we all desire a better Isoko Nation, then we must do the right thing. Except our stomach alone that will stop us from voting Joel Onowakpo Thomas for senate,” Eta pinpointed.
However, Eta, who is a proponent and supporter of credible candidates across party lines, appealed to everyone to boycott partisanship and political inclinations to support Joel-Onowakpo, the Isoko people’s candidate in the senatorial elections.
“I appeal to every one of us not to be swayed by stomach infrastructure or petty political partisanship to work against Isoko Nation’s interest. ‘LET’S VOTE JOEL ONOWAKPO THOMAS FOR SENATE’,” he reiterated.

Recall that Eta, an unapologetic supporter of Isoko’s course to produce the successor of Senator James Manager in the red chamber of the National Assembly, warned those who will work against Isoko’s ethnic interest to abstain from knocking on his gates should they vote wrongly.
The Iyasere, at the reception ground after the traditional marriage of the daughter of Suvr Peter Akarogbe in Oyede a fortnight ago, lamented that despite his appeal to several persons to vote in a man of capacity in the 2019 election, they did otherwise and got the resultant effect of their wrong moves.
He, however, stressed that another opportunity has presented itself through a man whose records in public and private sectors speak volumes and charged everyone desirous of effective representation to support Joel-Onowakpo for senate.
He added that should Joel-Onowakpo emerge victorious, the pathetic story of the people of Delta South will have a happy ending.
