A group, Nigerians Against Fraud Initiative (NAFI) has urged security agencies to investigate the activities of United Kingdom-based activist, Sandra Duru, also known as Prof. Mgbeke.
Duru came to spotlight recently after she claimed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan allegedly attempted to induce her with N200 million to falsely accuse the Senate President Godswill Akpabio of organ harvesting.
Although, Sen. Akpoti-Uduaghan has since denied the allegation, it has continued to generate mixed reactions.
In a statement made available to journalists on Friday, NAFI accused Duru of fabricating false narratives to inflame the crisis at the Senate, while allegedly acting as a mercenary for powerful politicians.
While calling her activism into question, the group in the statement jointly signed by Clifford Umunna, National Coordinator and Mallam Buni Abubakar, Secretary General, called on security agencies to investigate Duru’s activities.
