Renowned cleric and founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church, Apostle Dr. John Okoriko, has shaken religious circles with a controversial claim that Satan, demons, and devils were not created by God but by man. Speaking at the New Heaven Tabernacle, Oron, during the church’s Monthly Interactive Service themed “Unveiling How Satan, Demons, and Devils Were Created,” Okoriko argued that the widely held belief in Satan as a divine creation is a religious misconception.
According to Okoriko, who is also the author of “Every Satan Has a Human Face,” the concept of Satan and demons is wrapped in mystery and only exists in religious doctrines, not in science or technology. He emphasized that the Bible does not mention God creating Satan or demons at any point in the story of creation, asserting that these entities are born out of human thoughts, words, and actions.

“The concept of Satan, Demon and Devil is wrapped in mystery. They are only mentioned in religion, not in science and technology . They don’t have Satan , Demons and Devils in their research vocabulary.
” In the scriptures, God never created Satan and demons throughout the story of creation.”
He explained that religious organizations often engage in exorcisms, casting out demons and Satan, but in reality, they are expelling human-made manifestations of evil. Quoting Luke 11:24, he referenced the biblical story where Jesus cast demons into a herd of swine that later perished in the sea, illustrating that evil spirits are too destructive for any animal to contain. He further argued that the madman who identified himself as Legion was a product of human violence, war, and destruction, not a supernatural demonic entity.
Okoriko dismissed the notion of physical shrines, evil altars, and demonic images, stating that these are the result of human imagination rather than divine reality. He insisted that all forms of Satan, demons, and devils are human creations, shaped by negative words and actions.
His bold statements have sparked intense debate among religious scholars and believers, challenging centuries-old doctrines on the existence of Satan and demons.
