Current status
The 2025/2026 recruitment of 50,000 police constables has concluded. The Police Service Commission (PSC) released the list of successful applicants on its portal from 16 July 2026, and successful candidates report to police training institutions with their call-up slips. No new constable application portal is open.
What to do now: If you sat the written exam, log in to the PSC portal to check your status and download your call-up slip. Ignore anyone selling police forms or slots.

How to check your police recruitment status
- Go to the PSC recruitment portal at npfapplication.psc.gov.ng.
- Log in with the details you used to apply.
- Check your status on the dashboard. Successful candidates can download a training call-up slip.
- Prepare your NIN slip, BVN slip, original and photocopies of your certificates and the other items listed on the portal.
- Report to the training institution on your call-up slip. Candidates who fail the medical test at resumption will be asked to leave.

Yes. The PSC says the process is free and warns applicants against fraudsters.
