Police Academy, Wudi 13th Regular Course Candidates For Screening In September

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, is to screen candidates who applied for its 13th Regular Course on September 9, 2026.

The exercise will include Computer-Based Testing (CBT), physical features assessment, medical screening and selection board interviews.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Academy, DSP Umar Musa Isah, on behalf of the Commandant, AIG Auwal Muhammad, said candidates are required to print their examination slips between August 25 and September 8, 2026.

According to the statement, the screening exercise will run from September 9 to September 18, 2026, while the CBT examination will be conducted in batches according to candidates’ states of origin.

Candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Bauchi States will take the examination on Wednesday, September 9.

The second batch scheduled for Thursday, September 10, will comprise candidates from Bauchi (Batch B), Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta States.

Candidates from Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, the Federal Capital Territory, Gombe and Imo States will sit for the examination on Friday, September 11.

The fourth batch, comprising candidates from Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano and Katsina States, will take the examination on Saturday, September 12.

Candidates from Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos and Nasarawa States are scheduled for Sunday, September 13. The sixth batch, comprising Niger, Ogun, Ondo and Osun States, will sit for the examination on Monday, September 14.

Candidates from Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba States will take the test on Tuesday, September 15, while those from Yobe and Zamfara States will write theirs on Wednesday, September 16.

The academy said candidates are required to arrive at the institution a day before their scheduled examination dates and will be accommodated within the academy throughout the screening period. 

Also, candidates are also expected to appear in white T-shirts, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes.

They are required to present both original copies and photocopies of their Primary School Leaving Certificates, SSCE results from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, JAMB result slips, birth certificates or declarations of age, and local government area indigene certificates.

Other required documents include letters of identification, properly completed and signed guarantor’s forms, medical certificates of fitness issued by government hospitals, NIN slips, four passport photographs and the application acknowledgement slip printed from the POLAC Admission Portal.

The academy warned candidates that parents would not be allowed into the premises during the screening exercise.

It also advised candidates to rely on the POLAC Admission Portal for further information and warned against dealing with fake social media accounts impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy.

The academy advised all applicants to adhere strictly to the screening requirements and scheduled dates.
