Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed Dr. Godwin Adolor as the Delta State Coordinator of the Federal Government’s Made in Nigeria Project, a national initiative designed to promote indigenous products, strengthen local manufacturing, and drive economic growth across the country.

Adolor, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB), currently serves as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Delta State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, DEMSMEDA.
The Made in Nigeria Project was officially inaugurated alongside coordinators from the 36 states of the federation during a ceremony held at the Government House in Lafia.
The inauguration was conducted by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, while Governor Abdullahi Sule declared the event open.

The Federal Government initiative is aimed at encouraging Nigerians to patronise locally manufactured goods and services as part of broader efforts to boost industrialisation, support small businesses, reduce dependence on imports, and strengthen the national economy.
Speaking shortly after the inauguration, Adolor expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the appointment and the confidence reposed in him.
He pledged to work closely with relevant stakeholders, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and government agencies to advance the objectives of the Made in Nigeria Project in Delta State.
According to him, the initiative would help stimulate local enterprise development, create jobs, and encourage sustainable economic growth through increased support for Nigerian-made products.
