Maximor, an AI-powered finance technology company, has announced a 35-fold increase in revenue just nine months after raising $9 million in seed funding, as it expands its autonomous finance platform to manage core financial operations for businesses with minimal human intervention.

Key Highlights

  • Maximor records 35x revenue growth in just nine months.
  • AI platform reaches multi-million-dollar annual recurring revenue (ARR).
  • Finance agents now automate 98% of transactions without human input.
  • Platform serves more than 25 enterprise customers across multiple industries.
  • Company aims to transform finance into the intelligence hub of modern businesses.

The New York-based company said its platform now autonomously manages finance functions across revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, financial close and reporting, allowing finance teams to focus on strategic decision-making rather than repetitive administrative tasks.

According to Maximor, traditional finance software automates isolated tasks but still depends heavily on human intervention to interpret exceptions, reconcile transactions and complete workflows.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Ramnandan Krishnamurthy, said the company was created to move finance beyond automation.

“Finance teams are not short of software. They are short of systems willing to take responsibility for the work.

“The ERP records what happened. Maximor learns why it happened, executes what comes next and knows when to stop and ask. That is the difference between automating a task and running finance autonomously.”

AI Agents Powering Finance Operations

The company’s proprietary Audit-Ready Agents™ operate within existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to automate core finance processes without requiring organisations to replace their existing software infrastructure.

Maximor said approximately 98 per cent of financial transactions processed through its platform are completed from start to finish without human intervention. The remaining two per cent are escalated to finance teams when new or unusual scenarios arise, allowing the system to learn and improve over time.

Growing Enterprise Adoption

The company disclosed that it now serves more than 25 customers across sectors including software, manufacturing, construction, hospitality and consumer goods.

According to Maximor, customers have reduced manual finance workloads by about 90 per cent while cutting audit exceptions by 75 per cent.

The platform currently supports hundreds of legal entities, thousands of bank accounts and millions of financial transactions each day.

One cybersecurity company reportedly reduced its cash management team from 20 accountants to five after deploying Maximor, while another private equity-backed organisation reduced audit findings from seven to zero and lowered finance operating costs by about 70 per cent within six months.

Backed by Major Investors

Founded in 2024 by former Microsoft executives Ramnandan Krishnamurthy and Ajay Krishna Amudan, Maximor raised $9 million in September 2025 in a funding round led by Foundation Capital, with participation from Gaia Ventures, Boldcap and other technology investors.

Foundation Capital partner Ashu Garg said the company’s rapid growth reflects increasing demand for autonomous finance operations.

Future Plans

Looking ahead, Maximor said it plans to expand beyond finance automation by providing real-time business intelligence, forecasting capabilities and strategic financial insights powered by artificial intelligence.

The company said its long-term vision is to make finance the intelligence layer of every organisation by enabling businesses to understand current financial performance, predict future outcomes and support better executive decision-making.
