Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay is exploiting all options to leave the Camp Nou after it became clear that he will be denied ample time to feature consistently this season.

The former Olympique Lyon attacker was already aware his playing time would be slashed when the club bolstered its attack with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and the recovery of Ansu and Dembele’s
contract renewal.

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has spoken with the 28-year-old while the Catalans are fashioning out a way to facilitate a deal.

Though Xavi is aware that the player will not get what he requires in the present squad and has also discussed his future, the Calatans boss still featured the attacker in the US preseason tour where he scored vital goals that attracted interest from top European clubs.
