Following the delay in the negotiation for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang has withdrawn the Slovakian from the transfer market.
Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly itching to sign Skriniar to Parc des Princes but failure to meet Inter’s demands has allegedly truncated their effort.
According to Sky Sports Italia journalist, Di Marzio, before the match against Spezia where Inter thrashed them 3-0 at San Siro, Zhang will no longer listen to offers for the 27-year-old.
“Yesterday [Friday] Inter took Skriniar off the transfer market,” Di Marzio said,

Moreover, Zhang gave a timeline to sign Lazio’s Francesco Acerbi which may end up being Inter’s last transfer deal in the summer window.
Di Marzio revealed that representatives of Nerazzuri met with Lazio on Friday to discuss a potential switch of Acerbi to San Siro.
However, a loan deal with an option for a buy at the close of the season put forward.
“Yesterday [Friday] there was a meeting with Lazio, in which the teams both proved to be open to a loan deal with a purchase option,” Di Marzio said.
“I believe that between Monday and Tuesday it can be wrapped up, which should make Simone Inzaghi happy as he’s already worked with him before at the Biancocelesti,” he added.
Skriniar’s prospective move to Paris has undergone a different tone despite keen interest from PSG in the last couple of weeks.
However, with the insistence of coach Simone Inzaghi to keep the defender for the season, it has become clearer that Inter are not ready to part ways with the Slovakian just yet.
