The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of presidential candidates and their running mates for the 2027 general elections, with 18 political parties fielding candidates for the Presidency.
The list, signed by the Secretary of the Commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, contains the names of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates cleared to contest the election.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is listed alongside Vice President Kashim Shettima, while former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), with former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi as his running mate.
