The governor delivered the message during a Sallah homage held at the Government House in Yola, where members of the Adamawa State Executive Council, permanent secretaries, and other senior government officials gathered to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival with him.
At the heart of Gov. Fintiri’s remarks was a call for unwavering loyalty, unity, and commitment among those serving under his administration.
According to him, the achievements recorded so far by the government were made possible through collective dedication and shared responsibility.
He cautioned officials against abandoning the administration in pursuit of personal political ambitions, stressing that trust betrayed is often difficult to regain.

In many political settings, the period leading to the end of a tenure is often characterized by shifting loyalties, succession calculations, and realignment of political interests.
However, Gov. Fintiri insisted that governance must remain the priority, regardless of the political atmosphere surrounding the approaching transition.
“The final phase of the administration requires greater sacrifice and commitment,” the governor stated, emphasizing that public service demands consistency and loyalty until the last day in office.
He assured residents that his administration remains committed to consolidating its achievements, completing ongoing projects, and laying enduring foundations that would continue to benefit future generations in Adamawa state.
