Self-acclaimed financial adviser and social commentator GehGeh has advised men to walk away from relationships where they receive no meaningful support, using the ongoing marital crisis between Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo and her estranged husband, Bobby Maris, as a talking point.
Speaking in a video shared on his various Social media platforms, GehGeh argued that true love should be reflected in a partner’s willingness to help the other person grow financially, socially, or professionally.
According to him, any woman who is unwilling to use her money, influence, or connections to improve her partner’s life does not genuinely love him.
“If you’re with a woman who cannot use her money, status or connections to upgrade you, then dump her because that kind of woman does not love you,” he said.
The social commentator also reiterated his controversial stance on Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery, claiming that women who undergo the cosmetic procedure are typically seeking attention from other men rather than trying to please their husbands.
“I have said it before. Anytime a woman does BBL, she didn’t do it because of her husband. She did it to get attention from other men,” he stated.
GehGeh further argued that many men mistakenly believe financial provision alone is enough to secure loyalty in relationships, stressing that modern relationships require more than monetary support.

He also cautioned men against becoming emotionally or financially dependent on their partners, urging them to leave relationships where they feel undervalued.
His comments come amid the reported breakdown of Uche Ogbodo’s marriage. The actress recently announced the end of her relationship with Bobby Maris, saying she was “tired of being married to a princess” after more than eight years together.
The remarks have sparked widespread debate online, with social media users expressing differing opinions on GehGeh’s views about relationships, cosmetic surgery, and marriage.
