She was the proprietress of Treasure Hills School, Lagos.

A statement by the Eto family of Iyede Kingdom, noted that she was a devout Christian, mother, grandmother, in-law, sister, aunt, and cousin.

Mrs. Eunice Oghenekome Eto, a native of Otor-Iyede in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, lived a life defined by faith, resilience, and unwavering love for her family, pupils, community, and religion. She was a devoted educator, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, wife, mother, grandmother, as well as a devout Christian.

She began her early life in a missionary home established by her elder sister, the late Mrs. Victoria Eto. She attended Anglican Girls Grammar School, Ozoro, Delta State where she laid a strong academic foundation. Driven by her passion for faith and learning, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Religious Studies in 2005, and a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field in 2014, both certificates from Lagos State University.

Her professional journey reflected her dedication to nurturing young minds. She began her career as a trader before transitioning into education. In 2009, she became a Christian Religious Studies (CRS) teacher at Marigold College. She later moved to Prime Focus Academy, where she taught CRS from 2010 to 2012. In 2015, she took a bold step by establishing her own Treasure Hills School, where she continued to impact lives through education and mentorship.

The late school proprietress was a firm believer that anyone could become whatever he or she aspired to be, provided they gave their best. She was known for her faithfulness, loyalty, and peaceful nature. Above all, she was a woman of deep faith who placed God at the centre of her life.

Her greatest pride and joy were her four children. She shared a close bond with them, not just as a mother but as a friend, always putting them first in every decision she made.

She believed strongly in love and family, and she lived those values daily. Despite life’s challenges, she remained steadfast and compassionate, touching lives in ways that will not be forgotten.

Her health began to decline in 2022, marking the beginning of a difficult journey. She died on March 20, 2026, in Delta State.

Though her passing leaves a deep void, her legacy of faith, love, and sacrifice lives on in her children and all who knew her.

“A life of purpose, a heart of love, a legacy that lives on.”
