2023 elections: Ensure you deliver all APC candidates, Joel-Onowakpo charges party faithfuls

Delta South Senatorial District aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas has charged all APC faithfuls to work and ensure they deliver all the party’s candidates vying for elective positions in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas gave the charge in Warri when his campaign train berthed in Warri South, Warri North and Warri South West Local Government Areas of Delta State, to seek their support for his senatorial ambition.
He said that the All Progressives Congress in Delta State is no longer the way it was during the 2019 general elections, stressing that, “the party we have today is stronger, united, more positioned to win elections.
“I urge you all to think positively on how you can deliver all candidates during the general election come 2023 from State House of Assembly to Presidency. You should not be deceived by the logic of working for a particular candidate in another party and working for another one in APC during the general elections. You should work for only APC.”

He enjoined party members in the local government area to ensure that APC wins all elections in Delta State come 2023, noting that, “the Peoples Democratic Party of yesterday that was like a lion will become goat to APC.”
In a swift response, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress Warri South, Mr Mario Owumi, saluted the courage of Hon. Joel Thomas Onowakpo, for deeming it fit to come out to contest the Delta South Senatorial District seat election under APC. Mr Owumi posited that the senatorial election is not about ethnicity but is about political party, noting that when the former governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, contested, Warri South Local Government APC won the local government. That this time, they will be more committed to win the local government for APC again.
He described Hon. Joel-Onowakpo as a courageous man and dogged fighter. That they are ready and willing to support him.
Also speaking the House of Assembly aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Warri North constituency, Hon. David Atie, assured that they are ready to work assiduously to ensure Hon. Joel-Onowakpo wins the senatorial election come 2023.
He said that, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo is a man who has carved a niche for himself and has what it takes to win the senatorial election come 2023.
