Media personality and publisher, Dele Momodu, has slammed the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), alleging that its recent political action is inadvertently boosting support for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Momodu claimed that excessive deployment of security operatives at a past political convention reflected misplaced priorities and raised concerns about national security management.
He also faulted the conditions at a recent political gathering, describing the environment as inadequate. According to him, the turnout and circumstances surrounding the event may have unintentionally drawn sympathy and increased visibility for the ADC.

Momodu further argued that Nigeria’s current political climate is pushing leading opposition figures closer together. He referenced prominent politicians including Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Atiku Abubakar, Aminu Tambuwal, and Rotimi Amaechi, suggesting a growing alignment among them.
He noted that the handling of APC’s convention where, according to him, top security officials were heavily present was questionable, adding that such actions could backfire politically by strengthening opposition momentum ahead of future elections.
