Reality TV star Tega Dominic has issued a caution to Nigerians considering participating in the Big Brother Naija, revealing the intense psychological toll the show had on her.
Speaking candidly about her post-show experience, Tega disclosed that she developed anxiety, including social anxiety, which has continued to affect her daily life and interactions.
According to her, routine activities such as going out alone became overwhelming, while certain forms of physical interaction remain difficult to process.

“I won’t tell anybody close to me to go for Big Brother,” she said.
“If you’re not mentally strong, don’t go. After the show, I had anxiety, it got worse. I couldn’t go to places alone. I can give hugs, but I can’t receive them.”
The former housemate emphasized that the emotional pressure, public scrutiny, and sudden exposure that come with the show can be mentally exhausting, especially for individuals who are not psychologically prepared.
