The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has announced plans for the official declaration of Senator Ede Dafinone before party leaders and members in Delta Central Senatorial District.
In a notice issued on Friday, Delta State APC Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, said the invitation was conveyed at the directive of the party’s state Vice Chairman and Chairman of Delta Central, Chief Paulinus Akpeki.
According to the statement, the declaration ceremony is scheduled to hold on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Oharisi Primary School, Ughelli, by 1:00 p.m.
Onojeghuo stated that the invitation was extended to key party officials across Delta Central, including all state working committee members from the senatorial district, state executive committee members, local government chairmen and their executive members in the eight councils, as well as ward chairmen and executives across the district.

He described the event as an important gathering, aimed at strengthening party unity and consolidating support for continued progress and future electoral victories in Delta Central.
The statement urged invited members to attend in large numbers, stressing the need for solidarity within the party ahead of forthcoming political activities in the district.
Senator Dafinone currently represents Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
