Former Big Brother Naija housemate Chizzy Francis has advised Bella Okagbue to let go of the alleged ₦11 million debt reportedly owed to her by her former partner, Sheggz, and protect her peace.

Chizzy made the comment in a post shared on X while addressing the controversy surrounding Bella and the alleged debt.

According to him, pursuing the money could keep Bella emotionally attached to a relationship that has already ended. He urged her to accept the loss if necessary, learn from the experience and prioritise her peace.

“Bella, please let that money go and move on. Sometimes in a relationship, one person has to lose something for both people to gain peace,” Chizzy wrote.

He added that if Sheggz was owing her and their relationship was already over, Bella should not allow the debt to become a reason to remain emotionally stuck.

“Take the loss, learn the lesson, protect your peace, and move forward. Not every money lost is worth the peace you lose chasing it,” he stated.

The comment has drawn attention because of the reported financial dispute between Bella and Sheggz following the end of their relationship.

Bella Okagbue and Sheggz became romantically involved after meeting as housemates during the 2022 edition of Big Brother Naija.

Their relationship quickly became one of the most discussed romances from the reality show.

After leaving the BBNaija house, the pair continued their relationship and frequently shared moments from their lives with fans.

Their romance, however, remained a subject of public interest, with their relationship attracting both support and criticism.

The couple eventually went their separate ways, with Bella later speaking publicly about the breakup and issues surrounding their relationship, including expectations, promises and plans they had made while together.

The latest controversy has now shifted to the alleged ₦11 million debt reportedly owed by Sheggz to Bella.

While the full details of the alleged financial dispute remain unclear, Chizzy’s intervention has sparked fresh conversations among fans about whether Bella should continue pursuing the money or prioritise moving on from the relationship.

Chizzy’s advice has therefore added another dimension to the ongoing discussion, urging Bella to consider whether recovering the alleged debt is worth the emotional cost that may come with continuing to pursue it.
