The renewal is a clear statement of intent from the Blaugrana, rewarding a player who has grown into a key leader in the first-team squad.

Club Confirms New Deal

The club announced the news on Thursday morning, highlighting a shared desire to continue a partnership that has already delivered significant silverware.

“FC Barcelona and Raphael Dias Belloli, known in the football world as Raphinha, have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract, keeping him at the club until June 30, 2030,” FC Barcelona said in a statement.

Raphinha joined Barca in the 2022/23 season. Since then, he has made 190 appearances, scored 94 goals and won three La Liga titles (2022/23, 2024/25 and 2025/26), one Copa del Rey (2024/25) and three Spanish Super Cups (2022/23, 2024/25 and 2025/26).

Against Aston Villa, he also drew level with Adriano Correia as the Brazilian with the fourth-most appearances in FC Barcelona history.

Level With Ronaldinho

His latest goals have taken him to 94 strikes for Barcelona, drawing him level with club legend Ronaldinho. For a player who arrived under intense scrutiny, matching the goal return of the Brazilian icon is a major personal achievement.

Where Ronaldinho thrilled the Camp Nou with flair and artistry, Raphinha has written his own chapter through relentless drive, tactical discipline and cool finishing, earning a place among the elite Brazilians to wear the Blaugrana shirt.

Flying Start To 2026-27

The decision to hand him a long-term extension is largely driven by his output in the opening months of the 2026-27 season. He has already scored 19 times, with 15 goals in La Liga and four in the Champions League.

That form has taken him to the top of the La Liga scoring charts and made him one of the most dangerous forwards in European football.
