The Taraba State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has pledged to support and collaborate with the state Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas.
In a statement on Wednesday, while felicitating with the governor on his first year anniversary in office, ALGON, through its state chairman, Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan, praised Governor Kefas for his visionary leadership and substantial contributions to the state’s development.
Dr. Hassan, who also serves as ALGON’s national welfare officer, highlighted the governor’s achievements over the past year, noting that his administration has implemented strategic initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth, improving infrastructure, enhancing education, advancing healthcare, supporting agriculture, and promoting social welfare.
These efforts, according to Dr. Hassan, reflect Governor Kefas’s dedication to effective governance and the well-being of Taraba State’s citizens.
“We pledge our continued support and collaboration in achieving the shared vision of a prosperous and thriving Taraba State,” ALGON stated.
ALGON called on the people of Taraba State to set aside their differences and support Governor Kefas’s development agenda.
The association emphasized its commitment to assisting the governor in bringing much-needed development to rural communities, ensuring that progress reaches every corner of the state.

The association affirmed that the governor has not only laid a strong foundation for continued progress but has also inspired confidence in the future of Taraba State.
