A leading House of Representatives aspirant under the African Democratic Congress, Obah Edom Tawo, has intensified political activity ahead of the 2027 elections with the donation of party offices in Etung and Obubra Federal Constituency of Cross River State.
Tawo announced the development during an engagement with supporters in his hometown, describing the initiative as a practical step to strengthen grassroots participation and improve party coordination across the constituency. He said the move would provide a stable platform for party officials, stakeholders, and supporters to organise effectively at the local level.
According to him, the newly established constituency headquarters in Efraya, Etung Local Government Area, is a permanent structure designed to serve all 21 wards, while an additional ward office has been provided in Bendeghe Ekiem to deepen the party’s presence in the community.

The aspirant stressed that credible leadership must be reflected in concrete action, noting that public service should begin before electoral victory. He said the facilities are intended as shared assets for party members and residents, including youths, women, farmers, and traders who require accessible political structures.
Tawo added that the offices would function as centres for mobilisation, civic engagement, and inclusive participation, aligning with his broader vision of building lasting political institutions within the constituency. He urged residents of Etung and Obubra to register with the ADC and take an active role in shaping the area’s political future.
