According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the case was reported to the State Intelligence Department (SID) on June 16, 2026, by Samaila Musa, a resident of Hullere Gwalamba.

Musa informed police authorities that three of his sons — Adamu Samaila Sultan, 24; Bilal Abdurrahman, 8; and Ya’u Sani Baba Iyali, 10 — were kidnapped on June 12, 2026, and taken to an unknown location.

The Command added that investigations are ongoing and that the suspect will be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
Police authorities assured the public that further details would be made available as the investigation progresses.
