Nollywood actress Ini Edo has voiced her concerns over the escalating insecurity across Nigeria, criticizing what she described as the government’s inability to adequately protect citizens from growing violence and kidnappings.
In a video shared on her social media platforms, the actress expressed deep frustration over the continued loss of lives, stating that innocent Nigerians appear to be “sacrificed on the altar of power.”
She questioned official explanations surrounding the country’s security challenges and suggested that more information may be withheld from the public.
According to Ini Edo, the persistent killings, abductions, and attacks occurring in different parts of the country cannot be justified or accepted as normal.
