VDM made the claim while speaking about his ongoing disagreement with the rapper, describing him as a clown and alleging that the singer was struggling emotionally over the controversy.
According to the activist, Zlatan had reportedly sent three celebrities to appeal to him, while the singer’s parents allegedly joined a phone conversation with one of the intermediaries to plead on their son’s behalf.
“Zlatan has sent three celebrities to me”
Speaking during the discussion, VDM said, “Zlatan makes me laugh. That’s just the truth. I see him as a joke. To me, he’s a clown.”
He added, “Zlatan has sent three celebrities to me. As a matter of fact, his parents were on the call, telling one of them to come and beg me because their son no fit jòbè. Their son is not feeling well, that this whole thing is messing him up.”
Challenging Zlatan to publicly deny the allegation, VDM threatened to reveal the identities of the celebrities allegedly involved in the private reconciliation attempts.
“Let him say it’s a lie, make I drop the names of the celebrities,” he said.
VDM revisits Mohbad controversy
The activist also revisited the controversy surrounding late singer Mohbad, accusing Zlatan of remaining silent when the demand for justice following the singer’s death became a national issue. VDM had earlier leaked an audio recording and accused Zlatan of silence over the case.
VDM alleged that Zlatan avoided speaking publicly because he feared the possible consequences for his music career.
He also questioned why the rapper promoted songs he recorded with Mohbad, including Buga and Ikan Balance, but allegedly failed to speak up during the controversy surrounding his death.
Despite his criticism, VDM acknowledged Zlatan’s musical talent, describing him as a great artiste whose songs he enjoys.
He also insisted that he would not abandon the demand for justice for Mohbad, declaring, “I will not let the justice for Mohbad d+e.”
