Governor Oborevwori, who led the campaign alongside other political leaders, urged Deltans to support the APC, explaining that his decision to join the party followed extensive consultations with stakeholders and the need to align Delta State with the federal government for faster development.
He commended President Tinubu’s economic reforms, arguing that increased revenue allocations have improved the financial capacity of state and local governments to execute projects and meet their obligations.
The governor disclosed that 17,500 Delta students have benefited from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), encouraging more eligible students to apply.
On security, Oborevwori revealed that the State Executive Council had approved the construction of divisional police headquarters in the 25 local government areas of Delta State in anticipation of state police.
He also highlighted his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, education and healthcare, urging party members to sustain their mobilisation.

At a subsequent rally in Ozoro, Isoko North, Oborevwori appealed to the Isoko people to show their affection for his wife, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, who hails from Isoko North, by voting massively for the APC.

“Your vote is your voice, your strength and your weapon. Use it to vote for APC,” she declared.
Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme said the Oborevwori administration had recorded significant progress in road infrastructure, education and healthcare.
