Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Emevor Ward 7, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, have resolved to close ranks and work together for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The resolution was reached at a unity meeting of party leaders in Emevor, presided over by the party leader in the ward and Chairman of the Delta State Hospitals Management Board, Dr Paul Oweh.

Oweh Urges Unity Among Party Members
Oweh appealed to members to set aside personal differences and unite in the interest of the party, stressing that cohesion among leaders and members was essential to achieving electoral success.
The leaders also expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for the completion of Phase II of the Emevor-Orogun Road, describing the project as a significant intervention in improving connectivity and development in the area.
They, however, appealed to the governor to consider awarding Phase III of the road project to complete the link to Orogun Community.

Leaders Resolve Lingering Issues, Plan for 2027
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the leaders to deliberate on and resolve lingering issues and disagreements relating to the ongoing empowerment programmes across the state.
The leaders resolved to galvanise party members across the 17 units in Emevor Ward 7 and commence preparations for the 2027 general elections, with a commitment to present a united front during the campaigns.

Those in attendance included the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Beautification and President-General of Emevor Progress Union, Chief Emmanuel Erezih; Executive Assistant to the Governor on Media, Dr Nelson Egware; Dr Paul Emerhana; former Vice Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Anthony Odhe; Surveyor Dr Samuel Irori; and Dr Emmanuel Ajomadhume.
Others were councillors representing Emevor Ward, Hon. Edafe Anighoro, and Isi-Emevor Ward, Hon. Evelyn Umukoro; Chief Sylvester Ifode; Chief Peter Ibiri; Chief Emmanuel Erhire; Mr Wilson Khama; Chief Otobo Ugbome; Chairman, Emevor Community, Chief Lucky Okeremu; Chairman of the party in the ward, Deacon Phillip Oghogho; Ward Secretary, Edoso Samuel; Hon. Victor Oyibotha, among others.
