Who Can Apply for INEC Ad Hoc Staff Recruitment?
INEC’s recruitment categories cover different groups of qualified Nigerians, depending on the position and the applicable eligibility requirements. Potential applicants include serving and former NYSC members, students of federal and state tertiary institutions, eligible federal and state government employees, permanent staff of ministries, departments and agencies, qualified INEC personnel, eligible ICT personnel, and persons connected with institutions designated to host Registration Area Centres.

Requirements by Position
The Supervisory Presiding Officer category covers eligible personnel from the Federal Public/Civil Service and ministries, departments and agencies. Public-sector employees within Grade Levels 10 to 14 may qualify, subject to applicable conditions, along with serving NYSC members and, where their service falls within the specified period, former corps members.
The Presiding Officer and Assistant Presiding Officer categories include eligible students of tertiary institutions, whose eligibility depends on their institution and year of study, as well as permanent staff of ministries, departments and agencies with the required qualifications.
The RAC Manager position is linked to schools and other institutions designated to host Registration Area Centres or Super RACs. The head of a school or a staff member of a hosting institution may qualify, subject to Grade Level and other conditions.
The RATECH position is for personnel with the required information and communication technology qualifications or experience. Applicants should review the specific technical requirements published by INEC before applying.

When Are the 2027 Elections?
