The Accord Party governorship candidate in Taraba State, Professor Jerome Nyameh, has invited residents to question him directly about his plans, policies and vision ahead of the 2027 Taraba State governorship election.

Key Highlights

  • Jerome Nyameh opens online and physical platforms for public questions.
  • Tarabans can post questions on Facebook and tag the candidate.
  • Nyameh plans to engage residents across all 16 local government areas.
  • He says the initiative is designed to promote accountability and public understanding of his programmes.
  • The Accord candidate wants voters to scrutinise his proposed “Taraba’s Therapy” agenda.

Nyameh Invites Questions From Tarabans

In a statement, Nyameh urged Tarabans to ask what he described as “viable and constructive questions” about his intentions for the state and post them on Facebook while tagging his name for a direct response.

He said the initiative would provide an avenue for citizens to understand his proposed programmes and hold him accountable for commitments made during the electioneering period.

According to Nyameh, he will also engage residents physically during a campaign tour of the state’s 16 local government areas.

He acknowledged, however, that not everyone would have the opportunity to meet him during the tour, prompting him to create an additional platform for online engagement.

“Whether you meet me physically or reach me through social media, your questions matter, your concerns matter, and your voice matters,” he said.

Candidate Seeks Public Scrutiny

Nyameh likened his governorship bid to applying for an important job, with the people of Taraba serving as the interviewers.

He urged residents to question him about how he intends to address the state’s challenges and translate his proposed “Taraba’s Therapy” agenda into practical solutions.

The Accord candidate said he was ready to respond to questions about his programmes and policies and prepared to take on the responsibility of governing Taraba if elected.

He maintained that the people of the state deserved answers, accountability and a leader willing to listen to their concerns.

According to some party chieftains, the proposed engagements will form part of Nyameh’s broader campaign activities ahead of the 2027 Taraba State governorship election. The Independent National Electoral Commission publishes candidate and election guidelines on its official website.
